Does your dog get stressed in kennels? 

Would you prefer they were cared  for in a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere?  Then why not leave them here with me where they will be cared for within my home 24 hours a day. There will only be a small number of dogs boarding at a time so your dog will always get plenty of attention.

Location

My home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the quiet seaside town of Donaghadee.  I live in a bungalow so there will be no stairs to tackle for the more mature dogs.  My property has a large garden so there is plenty of room for running about between walks.  Dogs are never locked outside and have all day access to the house and garden.

Food & Bedding

I would request that you supply your own food as a sudden change of food can upset your dogs stomach, however I will supply food if needed (small extra charge).  Bedding will be provided but if you think that your dog would be more comfortable with its own bedding with them that is also welcome (I would request that bedding is washed before arrival).

Exercise

Residents are walked twice a day and will have all day access to run in the back garden.  If you have a very energetic dog that requires additional exercise this can be catered for at an additional cost.

Medication

Medication can be administered at no extra cost.  Please make sure that all medication is clearly lablled.  Please make me aware of any previous and ongoing health issues.

Vaccinations

All dogs MUST have their vaccinations up to date which includes Kennel Cough (has to be administered at least 10 days before arrival).  Vaccination cards must be provided on arrival as they can not be admitted without them.  I would also request that dogs are up to date with their flea and worm medication.  If a dog is found with either I will have to treat them immediately at the cost of the owner.

For daycare and boarding I request a meet and greet to make sure that your dogs gets along with my two elderly dogs.  This will also allow you to have a look around the premesis and also to let you see how your dog reacts to me. 

Your dog will be living with me like part of the family and will have all of the home comforts that a kennel cannot provide.

Full Day (up to 12 hours) £15

£20 per night for 1st dog

£18 for 2nd dog

Other Animals

I also take other animals which include reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, rats etc.  

rabbits/ferrets £7 per day (£3 for second animmal)

Rats,gerbils etc £2.50 per day
